THE ROAD TO ISLA BLANCA IBIZA

As the coast is neared, the road to Isla Blanca drops steeply and becomes rough. On reaching a low roofed ruin the road drops again to the right to reach the sea, The track to the left becomes blocked after a short while, continuing as a rough path below ominous slabs of rock that have fallen from the vertical cliffs.

This is a wonderful section of coast, quiet and secret, and with stunning views, there is no beach for sunbathing, but the swimming is excellent, the water so clear that from the cliff top you can watch the progress of cormorants as they swim underwater in pursuit of fish.
