SANT CARLES DE PERALTA IBIZ
This quiet, largely unspoilt village is a tiny place. It takes less than five minutes to walk from one side to the other but has some truly delightful corners. Look for the house (near the junction of roads to Cala Mastella and Cala de Sant Vicen) that is blue rather than white, and for the new pedestrian, tiled walkway with its array of small shops selling books and locally made crafts. Just outside the village, the Museo es Trui de Ca'n Andreu is a 17th-century house restored to its original state and decorated in period style.
