JESUS VILLAGE IBIZA

The road linking Eivissa to Cala LLonga and Santa Eularia runs through Jesus occasionally turning the pretty little village, with its fine views of Dalt Vila, into a noisy place.

Close to the church there is always peace and quiet, however, standing beside a small park with cacti and trees, it is reached via an elegant walkway with double lamps on wrought iron posts. While strolling along the walkway, or admiring the trees in the park, it is easy to imagine how Ibiza must have felt when the donkey cart was the major form of island transport though now and then the rattle of a passing lorry brings you back to reality.
