Ibiza Castle

 

The Ibiza Castle, which is situated within the Dalt Vila area of Ibiza old town, is sometimes referred to as the Almudaina. The castle was originally the administrative and military headquarters of the Moslem 'Wali'.

The castle was built during the 12th and 13th centuries, with modifications to the main building in the 16th century, and features nine square towers. The castle has been designated a world heritage site by UNESCO and is a great day out for you and the family during you stay on the island of Ibiza.
