ES CUBELLS TO SANT JOSEP IBIZA

The road to Es Cubells from Sant Josep passes through fine country planted at intervals with olives and vines. It is an attractive little village studded with stands of pine trees and has a collection of luxurious island homes perched above the coast.

Within the village an old monastery has been converted to a school, while a theological college stands high on a rocky outcrop. To complete this scene of piety there is a fine village church.

From Es Cubells a road runs high above the cliffs towards the headland of Cap lIentrisca. Also worth visiting if you have the time is the more modern village of Vista Alegre, reached by taking the other branch at the road fork close to Es Cubells.
