ES CANAR IBIZA

Es Canar is  a lively modern resort town aimed at families. As a link with its past, there is a tiny harbor where tiny fishing boats are moored while their owners dry or mend nets.

The town lies on the northern side of the headland of Punta Arabi  and a fine two-hour walk from Es Canar follows the coast around Punta Arabi and on into Santa Eularia. There are boats linking the two towns for a more relaxing return trip.

The beach of Es Canar is a graceful curve, its sands covered with sun beds and parasols, and the waters of the bay are completely current free, making it one of the safest,  many say the safest on Ibiza for children.
