CALA VADElLA COVE IBIZA

Many believed Vadella was Ibiza's most beautiful cove before the coming of mass tourism, though much of the tourist development is in the form of elegant, and expensive, villas discreetly hidden among the pines that back the beach. With its sheltering headlands, extremely fine-grained sand and amazingly clear water, Cala Vadella is excellent for swimming and there are good facilities, both at the beach and in the small village. Water sports equipment can be hired and the bars and restaurants are especially good. The cove is a fine natural harbour and there are ample opportunities for boat trips - some going as far as Formentera.
