CALA MASTELLA IBIZA
There is a beach at Cala Mastella, but it is small only 50m long and 10m wide so most swimmers use the rocks at the bay's edges, or the wall of the tiny port, as their platform. The waters here are clear and clean, the whole bay a delight, not least because development has been kept to a minimum and the relatively difficult access keeps visitor numbers within manageable limits.
Most of those who came will be heading for the bay's open-air cafe/bar, the EI Bigote, follow the well-worn path across the rocks on the bay's left side. been eaten.. Close to Cala Mastella is another fine bay, Cala Boix This is also signposted, and from Its car park steps descend to a good beach. Here, too, there are bar/restaurants which, though excellent, do not have the romantic appeal of other more famous eateries in the region.
