PUNTA DEL HIDALGO TENERIFE

If you want to stay at a Tenerife holiday resort yet get away from it all and remain far from the crowds, come to Punta del Hidalgo. Located at the end of a small road on the rocky Hidalgo headland that projects into the Atlantic from the northern coast, it's exposed to wild seas and strong winds. The resort does have its following its popular with German visitors and well known as a good place to enjoy the sunset. Its hotels give a fine view over the sea and nearby Anaga Mountains. Most visitors make little use of the sea, preferring to relax at hotel pools Nevertheless; the resort is growing and gradually extending towards its similar neighbour, Bajamar.
