Las Teresitas Santa Cruz

Las Teresitas beach is located in the north of Santa Cruz and is actually the only white sanded beach in Tenerife. Las Teresitas beach is usually frequented by locals rather than tourists, but it can become very popular in the summer months, and is often considered the best beach in Tenerife. The beach has picturesque palm trees dotted around the sand, providing a small amount of shade, and there are also Chiringuitos, small beach bars that provide the usual refreshments and snacks. The beach stretches for 1.5km and there are some beach activities available such as volleyball and aerobics. The beach is actually man-made, with the sand being brought in from the Spanish province of Sahara. Despite this, the beach feels completely natural and offers the family a beach to visit whilst on holiday in Tenerife.
