TORRALBA D'EN SALORD
This extensive site, 3km south of Alaior, is the closest Menorca has come to turning its prehistoric ruins into a tourist attraction. The road that used to bisect the site has been diverted, a car and coach park created, and arrows have been put up to guide visitors around Menorca's first archaeological park the only ancient site in Menorca to levy an admission charge. There are the remains of a complete village here, including a taula, two talaiots and a Cyclopean wall, along with artificial burial caves. From the village there are good views of the white town of Alaior with Monte Toro towering over it in the distance.
