SANT TOMAS

This long beach of pale golden sand is virtually a continuation of the beach at Son Bou. Separated from it by a pair of low headlands Once a quiet spot, it has grown into a major resort with four large hotels and an urbanizacion creeping up the hills behind the beach. In 1989 a freak storm blew away all the sand from the beach and what you see now has been imported in its place. A path at the western end of the beach leads to the quieter beaches of Sant Adeodato and Binigaus . Take note of the flag system for safe bathing as the beach has dangerous currents.
