SANT ADEODATO BEACH

The western end of Sant Tomas beach is totally undeveloped and known as Sant Adeodato The sand is fine, the swimming is safe but there are few beach facilities. A short walk on a sandy path behind the beach, passing the islet of Binicodrell offshore, brings you to the larger beach at Binigaus, popular with nudists but with dangerous currents that make it unsafe for swimming. From Binigaus you can walk inland along the Barranc de Binigaus, a limestone gorge riddled with caves, including the cathedral like Cova des Coloms though the easier approach to this particular cave is nearby.
