GALA PRESILIA BEACH

short walk from the headland at Cap de Favaritx brings you to several quiet coves, beginning with Cala Presili. You start the walk by passing through wooden gates between a pair of white pillars 1 km from the lighthouse. Cala Presili leads on to Cala Tortuga and then to Cala Morella Nou. All have high grassy dunes, clear white sand and good swimming and none of them ever gets crowded. Behind the beach at Cala Tortuga is a marshy lake, part of the S'Albufera nature reserve.
