CALA EN BLANES  Aquapark

The coastline to the west of Ciutadella was once a succession of small beaches and pretty coves; now Cala En Blanes, along with its neighbors Cala En Bruc, Cala En Forcat and Cales Piques, have been swallowed up and merged into one continuous stretch of 'urbanization', based around the busy tourist complex of Los Delfines. This is as close as Menorca gets to the mass tourist developments of the Spanish costas, with signs in English and German, villas In fake local style, overcrowding in summer and a complete absence of life in winter. At the heart of the resort, Aquapark is Menorca's first water park, with waterslides, soft play areas and crazy golf for the kids.
