Mallorca Museum Palama

Mallorca's most important museum is housed In a 17th century palace, with collections spanning more than 3,000 years of history. Start in the basement with the prehistory section, which Includes pottery, metal and stone artefacts from the Talalotic cultures, as well as bronze figures of naked warriors brought back from the Punic wars. Other rooms are devoted to Islamic archaeology, Gothic art (with a particularly fine collection of painted altarpieces), Modernism and 20^th century art.
