CONDE DUQUE CULTURAL CENTRE MADRID

It is worth checking the entertainment listings to see what is on at this handsome cultural centre. It was once the barracks for the royal bodyguard, and reflected the grandeur of Felipe V's Palacio Real to the south. Begun in 1720, it housed soldiers for 150 years.
