Playa de los Amadores

Playa de Los Amadores is a beautiful man-made beach in Gran Canaria, situated between Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogán, in the southwest of the island. The extensive bay of Playa de Los Amadores is protected from the break-water, and it stretches for 800m with fine golden sand and clear blue sea, perfect for diving or snorkelling. This beach is much quieter than main tourist beaches such as Playa del Ingles, and this is partly due to the fact no loud radios or ball games are allowed here, thus Playa de Los Amadores offers a more relaxing beach in Gran Canaria to visit. Sun-beds and parasols can be hired here for a small fee, and there is a range of bars and restaurants situated directly behind the sand area.
