Granada Science Park
One of Granada's newest attractions, the Science Park (Parque de las Ciencias) manages to combine fun and learning in such a way that even the youngest children will happily spend the day exploring this hands-on open air museum.
Set in over seven acres, the main building is divided into two areas with permanent exhibitions: The Biosphere, Eureka, Perception and Explore which boasts over 270 interactive areas. The 50 metre Observation Tower houses fascinating experiments in Metrology, Astronomy and Geography. In the grounds there is a Plant Labyrinth, Water and Energy Games, a Tropical Butterfly House, a Giant Chess Game, Distorted House, The Planetarium and a wonderful selection of activities to test your mechanical knowledge and mental agility.
A Science Shop means you can take home simple scientific experiments, games and books. The Milky Way (Via Lactea) restaurant provides a wide range of food and drinks to sustain the hungry scientist.
