MUSEU EPISCOPAL VIC
The diocesan museum contains more than 20,000 exhibits, including the most complete collection of Catalan Romanesque art outside Barcelona. The treasures on display include frescoes and altarpieces from remote Pyrenean churches, and some wonderfully lifelike 12th century wooden statues of the Virgin Also here are Gothic religious paintings by some of Catalonia's finest artists, including Lluis Borrassa, Bernat Martorell and Jaume Huguet. The museum is housed in a magnificent new building which opened next to the cathedral in 2002.
