LLANCA COSTA BRAVA
Llanca was built 2km back from its harbor in an effort to deter pirates, with the result that it is neatly split into two parts. The old town is largely unaffected by tourism; life centers on the Placa Major, with its outdoor cafes, Romanesque bell tower and Baroque parish church. The busy harbor, with beaches to either side, has a pleasant promenade lined with fish restaurants. Climb the rocky outcrop on the edge of the marina for great views of Cap de Creus poking out to sea.
