Cadaques Village Costa Brava

Cadaques Costa BravaCadaques is a small fishing village situated to the north of the tourist resort of Roses on the Costa Brava. The village is most famous for being the home of legendary painter Salvador Dali on nearby beach Port Lligat.                   

Cadaques is set on a hill and is overlooked by the impressive Baroque church Esglesia de Santa Maria. Within the village you will find various shops selling various arts, crafts and tourist souvenirs. There are also various bars and restaurants serving mainly Mediterranean and fish based cuisine.

Cadaques is also home to a pleasant beach for you to enjoy during your stay in the Costa Brava. All in all, Cadaques is the ideal day out for you and your family whilst on holiday in the Costa Brava tourist resorts.

GETTING THERE: From Figueres and Roses there are daily buses running to and from Cadaques. Sarfa runs these buses. For more information visit their website http://www.sarfa.com/. From Roses you can also get a boat ride taking you to Cadaques whilst enjoying the panoramic views this coastline has to offer.
