Magic Fountain of Montjuic
Originally built by Carles Buigas (1898-1979) for the 1929 International Exhibition, La Font Magica, or the Magic Fountain of Montjuic, is known for its spectacular sights as it comes alive during summer evenings. From Thursday to Sunday the fountain jets are programmed to a multi-coloured music and light show, providing fabulous entertainment for all ages.
There is no fee for entry and an evening at the fountain after a hard day of sightseeing makes for a memorable holiday experience. As the venue is completely outdoors it is advisable to check the weather before heading there, although summer months tend to be clear and dry.
