Barcelona Aquarium

For holiday makers young and old the Barcelona Aquarium is a fantastic attraction. Located at Port Vell, Barcelona´s new Leisure Port, it is the largest Aquarium in Europe. On display are 21 tanks full of marine life displaying expertly created ocean habitats from all over the world, as well as from the Mediterranean sea. The aquarium also boasts the only oceanarium in Europe. Fun for kids and a place of interest, a trip to the Barcelona aquarium promises entertainment and education, and even the chance to swim with the fish! The aquarium is indoors and open all year round, so there´s no need to worry about the weather. The site has a cafeteria and is wheelchair friendly.
