Weather in Spain
The weather in Spain is extremely varied, owing primarily to the country's large size and the dramatically different climatic influences of the Mediterranean and Atlantic. Each region, therefore, has its own distinctive climate.
The Spanish "Costas" are renowned for their long hot summers, and indeed most areas of Spain enjoy hot weather during the summer months. The biggest contrasts can be seen in the winter weather, when many inland and mountainous areas experience freezing conditions, whilst the Mediterranean coastal resorts enjoy very mild and often sunny weather conditions.
We are currently compiling more detailed weather reports for each region, which will be available on the links below. Watch this space for weather updates!
