Events

First held in 1986, the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers has become a highlight of the international sailing calendar.  Starting in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and finishing in Rodney Bay, on the Caribbean island of St.Lucia, this major event draws crowds of spectators and competitors from around the world.

This is the largest trans-ocean sailing event in the world, and over 170 competitors take part, covering 2,700 nautical miles from start to finish.  Normally taking between 12 and 24 days to complete, the rally ends with a host of parties and celebrations in St.Lucia which continue right up to the prize-giving ceremonies.
