Playa San Marcos

San Marcos Beach is situated in a small fishing village, 20km from Puerto de la Cruz, and is also located near the winemaking town of Icod de los Vinos. San Marcos is often considered the most picturesque beach in Tenerife with its clear blue sea and dark, fine sand. San Marcos beach has been awarded a blue flag of excellence, ensuring the beach is of an excellent standard for the whole family to visit. Sun-beds and parasols can be hired for a small fee and the beach also features the usual amenities you would expect from a beach in Tenerife. San Marcos beach is quiet compared to the main tourist beaches in Tenerife, but it can become crowded on the weekends as it is only 150 metres in length and 10 metres wide.
