
Museum of Spanish Art
The Museum of Spanish Art (Museu d'Art Espanyol) is a great day out whilst on holiday in Palma de Mallorca. Opened in 1990, the impressive 18th century building houses the finest collections of contemporary Spanish Art outside of Madrid and Barcelona. The museum offers visitors a look at breathtaking pieces from Salvador Dali, Joan Miro, Juan Gris and Pablo Picasso to name a few. Many external exhibitions take place at the museum and there is also an assembly hall for educational classes and concerts for children. An exciting gift shop is available on site featuring a range of posters and gifts on sale from past exhibitions. Guided tours are available from 11am - 3pm Monday to Friday without prior appointment.
