Playa de Formentor
Formentor Beach offers 1000m stretch of white fine sand, and is the perfect beach for a relaxing day whilst on holiday in Mallorca. The beach is quiet, compared to the hustle and bustle of many of Mallorca's main tourist beach areas, and is surrounded by pine trees reaching down to the shore. The sea is crystal clear blue and the waves are soft, perfect for the range of water sports that are on offer. Formentor Beach has been awarded a Blue Flag of Excellence, boasting a very clean area, with lifeguards on duty to ensure visitors safety. Umbrella's, hammocks and sun-beds can be hired for the day at a small fee to make your day at beach more comfortable. There are several cafes and snack bars to have a relaxing lunch or dinner whilst visiting Formentor Beach.
