Cala Fornells beach is small and quaint, offering fine golden sand and transparent crystal turquoise sea. Located near the Camp de Mar, on the beautiful island of Mallorca, this beach offers families and couples a relaxing day. The beach is only 30 meters in length and width and is surrounded by natural vegetation. The beach has some large rocks, which have been made into terraces for extra sunbathing areas. Pedal boats, sun-beds and umbrellas can be rented for the day for a small fee, to ensure your day is comfortable. The Cala Fornells beach is situated 2 miles out of the town of the bay of Cala Tirant, and is sometimes referred to as the Platja Gran Beach. Lifeguards are on duty to ensure visitors safety, and there are a number of bars and restaurants located near the beach.
