Ibiza Cathedral
The impressive 14th Century Cathedral in Ibiza Old Town overlooks the city and sea from the top of a hill. This is one of the most important monuments to visit during your stay on the island of Ibiza.
The Cathedral was built by the Catalan troops who, in 1235, promised that if they conquered Ibiza they would then build a temple. The Cathedral was originally built in a Gothic style but has since been altered with the Baroque style in the 18th century.
