Santa Ana Cathedral

The impressive building of the Catedral de Santa Ana, is a great place of interest to visit whilst on holiday in Gran Canaria. Located in Las Palmas, the Catedral de Santa Ana features an Atlantic Gothic interior, with neoclassical facades upon the exterior. The range of architectural styles means the Cathedral in Gran Canaria took an extremely long time to build; building commenced in the 15th Century and was not completed until 350 years later. The Catedral De Santa Ana also features the Museo Diocesano, adjacent to the Cathedral. It displays artifacts of arts and religion, with many archives and documents available to view. Visitors can also take a trip up the Cathedral's tower, ensuring this place of interest in Gran Canaria is an excellent attraction to visit. Entrance is free.
