Playa de Verga
Playa de Verga can be found in the quiet residential area of Patalavaca, offering a relaxing beach in Gran Canaria to soak up the Canary Island sun. Playa de Verga is a small beach situated on the south of the island, between Puerto Rico and Arguineguin, being much quieter than the busy tourist beaches on the island such as Playa del Ingles. Playa de Verga is a great beach in Gran Canaria to learn surfing, due to the gentle waves found here, and deep-sea fishing trips also occur in the waters here. The beach has excellent facilities; visitors can hire sun-beds and parasols for the day to provide extra comfort, and restaurants and bars can be found at the back of the beach.
