Maspalomas Beach

Like Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas Beach in Gran Canaria becomes very popular during the summer months, however some consider it the most beautiful beach in Gran Canaria. The large, 2.5km long beach is split up in to four areas: the first for families; two nudist beaches, and one being popular with the gay community. Maspalomas Beach provides fine golden sand with wind-sculpted sand dunes (a tourist attraction within themselves), and calm clear blue sea to relax and soak up the Canarian sun. There are many shops, restaurants, bars and cafes to visit surrounding the beach, and there are also the usual water-crafts, sun-beds and parasols available for hire. Lifeguards are also on duty to ensure visitors' safety at this popular, but picturesque beach in Gran Canaria.
