Playa de las Alcaravaneras
Playa de las Alcaravaneras is the second longest beach of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, bordering the northeast harbor area. The beach stretches for 1000 metres, with golden sand and clear blue sea. Alcaravaneras Beach is usually frequented by locals and is home to Varadero Sailing Club. The Avenida Martima runs alongside the beach, with the promenade being popular with rollerblader's and joggers. On the beach, visitors can play volley-ball, or relax in the Canarian sun and watch the yachts go by. Playa de Las Alcaravaneras is also ideal for water-sports such as wind-surfing, diving, jet-skiing and more. Playa de Las Alcaravaneras provides an excellent beach in Gran Canaria to visit whilst on holiday in Las Palmas.
