The Picasso Museum in Malaga was inaugurated in 2003 in honour of the fact the famous painter was born in Malaga. Within the museum you will find various rooms displaying pictures of the life of Picasso in the early years, when he still lived in Malaga.
The museum features 12 halls of permanent exhibition paintings of Picasso's work. Famous paintings you will see during your visit at the Picasso Museum in Malaga include the Olga Kokhlova with Mantilla (Barcelona 1917), Mother and Child (1921-1922) and Portrait of Paulo with white hat (1923). There are also various other objects such as sketches and ceramic on display.
Whilst you are there you can also visit the Casa Natal just around the corner from the museum. This is the house Picasso was born in.
