La Alcazaba
La Alcazaba
La Alcazaba is an impressive castle in Malaga built during the 11th and 15th centuries. This attraction is a must to visit for anyone on holiday in the Costa del Sol area interested in historical and interesting buildings. It was built by the then ruling Muslims and therefore the design and structure has been influenced by that culture.
The castle is formed by two wall areas and is set on top of a hill. There is a lift behind the town hall that can take you to the top of the hill with magnificent views of Malaga and the Costa del Sol.
