Family fun day out in selwo safari park estepona Costa del Sol
Because we were on holiday in estepona and it was a bit of an overcast day we decided to take the whole family off to selwo safari park in estepona Costa del Sol and have a family day out
The safari park is very easy to find, and is very close to estepona, travel down the coast road n340 and the exit is very close to the garden centre agro jardin
The park is a big zoo with much different type of animals all in a nature reserve, there are bird’s lions, monkeys, elephants, crocodiles and much more to see, there is plenty of activities and kids play areas
What we all liked the best was the safari truck rides through the park, there are two stops, each ride is about ten minutes, it’s a bit of bumpy experience but the kids loved it, at the bus stops you can get out and look around at the animals or take a drink at the cafes, restaurants and bars, after you can walk through the bird Avery back down to the main entrance
If you have young children be prepared for a long day it took us over 4 hours to look at every thing, make sure you have a buggy to push the little ones around and have good comfortable shoes, I imagine on a hot day it would be very hot so take sun protection and hats because there is no shade when walking around
This was a great family day out in Costa del Sol
If you want you can stay for a night in a hut it is €70 per night, selwo entrance fee is. Adults €21.50and €15.00children, it is open 10.am until 6pm
