The Costa Brava resort of Empuriabrava boasts a lively nightlife that caters for most tourist types with an array bars, restaurants, nightclubs and discos. Along The Arches (Los Arcos), there are numerous bars where reps entice tourists for free drinks and discounted entrance to the nightclubs. Like most of Catalunya, these bars stay open to the early hours of the morning and locals from the surrounding villages and towns come here to party at the weekend. Musical styles in the bars and clubs range from rock to house to pop to traditional Spanish, thus catering for all. Large nightclubs can be found in the area such as Passerella, which features a swimming pool and outdoor terrace. More relaxing bars to visit after dinner can be found around The Marina.
