Empuries Ruins
Empuries Ruins
The Empuries Ruins are set on the Costa Brava coastline, and are the most important Greek ruins found in Spain. Three settlements were built between the 7th and 3rd centuries BC. The old town is known as Palaiapolis, the new town is known as Neapolis and then there is the Roman town.
We recommend that during your visit to the Empuries Ruins that you check out the nearby museum that exhibits some of the objects found in the area including gold, bronze, silver and ceramic sculptures.
