Iberian Settlement
Iberian Settlement
The Iberian Settlement in Ullastret dates from the 7th Century BC and is positioned on the Sant Andreu Mound, located just 2km from Ullastret Village on the Costa Brava. When the Iberians inhabited this area, they constructed a large wall allowing them to set up their own area to live in for various social activities. Visits to this place of interest in Spain allow the public to view the ruins of Iberian houses and part of the Settlement Wall. This provides an extensive view into Iberian culture and lifestyle as the remains have been excavated to accommodate visitors safely. In addition to this there is a museum close by featuring the most prominent remains from the area.
