Barcelona fc camp nouGreat fun for kids as well as one of Barcelona´s key places of interest, Camp Nou is Europe's largest football stadium and home ground of the world famous football team, Barça (Barcelona FC). With the capacity to hold up to 100,000 fans, the huge state of the art facility is an extremely popular attraction with local and foreign visitors alike.

Soccer matches hosted by Barça are generally weekend occasions, while during the week affiliated local soccer clubs compete. A variety of other sports are also practised on site at the sport centre, where you will also find an ice rink and mini-stadium.

The football ground is also home to the FC Barcelona museum, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Barcelona. It first opened in 1984 and is widely heralded as the finest football museum in the world. Over 100 years of football and Barca memorabilia are contained within the museum providing entertainment and education, and an example of the social and cultural significance of football in both Catalunya and beyond.

Because the venue is largely outdoors, it is advisable to check the weather forecast before visiting, and a coat is recommended during winter months.
